1.1.0 Safe to install
The LITE version provides access exclusively to FAST and IVC assessments, offering a streamlined, high-speed reference tool for bedside ultrasound in emergency and critical care settings.
RESUS Ultrasound functions as a rapid reference application designed to assist clinicians during urgent patient evaluations. It features an extensive library of thousands of anatomical landmarks, ultrasound images, and videos covering critical topics such as FAST, echocardiography, lung evaluation, airway management, aorta assessment, DVT detection, ultrasound-guided procedures, and IVC analysis.
Adapting to the demands of fast-paced environments, the app enables healthcare providers to quickly locate ultrasound protocols and interpret findings through visual references without the need for physical books at the bedside.
Key features include:
- Anatomical landmarks illustrated with clickable probe placement guides linked to expected ultrasound images.
- High-resolution ultrasound images and videos with click-to-label functions for rapid identification of organs and abnormalities; images can be enlarged for detailed review.
- A swipe feature that facilitates side-by-side comparison of normal versus abnormal images.
- A search function accessible from the top corner of each screen, allowing quick retrieval of images, signs (such as A-line or EPSS), references (for example, IVC collapsibility or diastolic function tables), and protocols (including FAST indications and differential diagnosis for dyspnea).
In this free version, only two categories are available for download: FAST exams and IVC assessments. The FAST module includes four subcategories—Right Upper Quadrant, Left Upper Quadrant, Subxiphoid, and Suprapubic views.
